Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Storage Consultant with extensive expertise in enterprise storage solutions, particularly across IBM, NetApp, and Pure storage systems. This role involves providing strategic guidance, implementing high-performance storage solutions, and optimizing storage infrastructure for a range of clients. You will leverage advanced knowledge in storage protocols (GPFS, NFS, CIFS), operating systems (Linux), and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) to deliver scalable, efficient, and secure storage environments.

Key Responsibilities:
Consulting & Advisory:
oAct as a subject matter expert on storage solutions, offering high-level guidance on design, deployment, and optimization.
oEngage with clients to assess storage needs and recommend solutions that align with business and technical requirements.
oProvide expertise on IBM, NetApp, Pure, and other leading storage technologies to address complex client challenges.
Solution Design & Implementation:
oDesign, configure, and implement storage solutions tailored to clients' unique needs, focusing on scalability, performance, and security.
oWork with protocols such as GPFS, NFS, and CIFS to design robust data-sharing environments.
oLead the deployment of storage infrastructure across various environments, ensuring adherence to best practices.
Infrastructure Automation & Management:
oAutomate storage provisioning and management using tools like Ansible and Terraform, driving efficiency and reducing manual effort.
oDevelop and maintain scripts and playbooks for streamlined storage management, focusing on repeatability and error reduction.
oMonitor and optimize storage infrastructure performance, conducting troubleshooting as needed to resolve issues promptly.
Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting:
oConduct regular audits of storage performance and recommend improvements to ensure optimal service levels.
oDiagnose and resolve storage-related performance issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams as necessary.
oApply deep technical knowledge to address complex client-specific storage challenges, providing root cause analysis and resolution.
Documentation & Knowledge Sharing:
oCreate and maintain comprehensive documentation of storage solutions, configurations, and processes.
oProvide training and knowledge transfer sessions to client teams, fostering self-sufficiency in storage management.
oStay current with emerging trends and technologies in the storage domain to drive innovative solutions.

Qualifications:
Experience:
o8+ years of experience in enterprise storage environments, including in consulting roles.
oProven experience with IBM, NetApp, and Pure storage solutions, with advanced knowledge of deployment and management best practices.
oExtensive experience with storage protocols, particularly GPFS, NFS, and CIFS.
Technical Skills:
oProficiency in Linux system administration, with a focus on storage management.
oExpertise in automation tools, including Ansible and Terraform, for storage provisioning and maintenance.
oSolid understanding of storage networking, RAID configurations, and performance optimization.

Soft Skills:
oStrong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle complex client challenges.
oExcellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
oAbility to work independently and manage multiple client engagements concurrently.

Preferred Qualifications:
Industry certifications in IBM, NetApp, or Pure storage solutions.
Familiarity with cloud-based storage environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
