Senior Estimator - California Highway / Airfield Concrete Repair

The Situation

For four decades this highly successful, family-owned organization has served as one of California s leading construction firms specializing in concrete sawing/joint sealing and concrete restoration. Having little employee turnover, a rare opportunity has opened for an Estimator/Project Manager, based in Rancho Cucamonga, California.

The Position

Reporting to the company owners, the successful candidate enjoys applying their prior experience estimating and project managing large scale, long term civil projects for So. California highway and airfields, as well as for fast-turn, smaller commercial projects.

This role ensures the organization consistently delivers on time, on budget and beyond a customer s expectations. Through their knowledge of concrete sawing and joint sealing, and concrete repair and restoration, this individual costs and project manages a project to its successful conclusion and delivers the profit margins necessary to sustain a financially secure business.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is motivated to join this highly experienced team of industry leaders and possesses strong knowledge and experience in the concrete repair industry. This candidate possesses the ability to prepare accurate take-offs and cost estimates which entail the skills necessary to read plans and job specifications utilizing computer take-off programs. Highly desirable is experience in esmang and reading plans for Airfield and Highway Caltrans projects. In addition, the candidate should have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in Excel and Take-Off programs, and comfortable wearing multiple hats, this individual wants to be more than a cog in a large company environment; they seek to continue their growth as the organization plans to pass the baton to the third generaon of owners which views this position as a key member of their leadership team. Experience in airfield and/or highway concrete paving is a plus.

The Compensation

The company appreciates the talents it seeks in the Estimator/Project Manager. The compensation package includes an excellent base, generous health insurance program for employees and family, a lucrative bonus structure, a company vehicle and credit card, and paid vacation and sick leave.

Salary: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
