Job Description
The Electronic Technician conducts a variety of electronic and electro-mechanical tests on electronic systems, assemblies, sub-assemblies, and parts to ensure product operation in accordance with specifications. The technician applies knowledge of electronic principles to determine equipment malfunctions and restore equipment to operation. The role involves troubleshooting non-conforming or malfunctioning products down to the component level using schematics and original specifications as a guide. The technician uses hand tools such as multimeters, voltage meters, and oscilloscopes to perform electrical inspections and tests. The position requires collaboration with Engineers from Development, Manufacturing, and Quality, as well as end customers, for testing and troubleshooting of products including R&D prototypes, inspections before shipment, warranty, or return claims.
