Day in the Life of a Mechanical Engineering Intern
We are looking for inquisitive and driven engineers with a passion to solve difficult problems. From tiltrotor technology to modular complex electronics systems, our interns to support all lifecycles across a wide portfolio of aircraft programs and functions, to bring vertical lift solutions to our customers. We have numerous projects available, from designing detail parts, analyzing components and systems, to coupon, component, and system level testing, and production and fleet support. At Bell you will have the opportunity to combine your passion and knowledge to solve some of the worlds most difficult challenges required to bring rotorcraft products to market. You will get to work with great people who share your passion to introduce new ideas, improve on the past, and leave your mark on the future.

What You Will Need
- Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher with a major in Mechanical Engineering required.
- Minimum 60 credit hours completed by the start of the internship or previous Bell employment.
- Ability to complete entire internship, June 2, 2025 to August 8, 2025.
What Will Make You Stand Out
- Exposure to CATIA / advanced CAD systems, component design experience.
- Exposure to advanced analysis tools, ANSYS, NASTRAN, component analysis experience.
- Familiarity with defining and interpreting GD&T.
- Familiarity with Systems Engineering processes, from requirements through verification.
- System integration experience, integrating complex systems, including sensors, components, complex electronic hardware, and software.
