If so, Schneider Electric has an outstanding opportunity for you! Join our high-performance Technology Exploration team as the Data Center Technology Incubation Manager, where you'll be at the forefront of creating innovative architectures for the next generation of data centers and AI workloads.

The ideal candidate should be:
  • Curious, self-motivated, and passionate about sustainability and new data center technologies.
  • Have a hands-on approach to learning and creating.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage internal and external resources.
  • Familiarity with data center electrical, mechanical & controls architectures.
  • Successful collaboration with customers, cross-functional teams, and able to work independently.

The successful candidate will have familiarity with all data center systems, including, but not limited to LV and MV electrical systems, air and liquid cooling systems, BMS and/or SCADA controls systems. The ideal candidate will also understand the sustainability drivers for data centers.

Main activities:
  • Be responsible for the CTO exploration and incubation lab.
  • Create prototypes of new technologies, leveraging in-house facility and/or external contractors.
  • Research and summarize new technologies.
  • Collaborate directly with customers on innovation design work.
  • Collaborate directly with lines of business of new product development.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical, electrical or systems engineering.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience within the data center industry.
  • Experienced in data center systems design and or operations.
  • Proficient with design tools like AutoCAD, Creo and Revit.
  • Must have the legal right to work in the US (no option to support sponsorship)
  • Proven aptitude and ability to succeed in a research environment including lab work and safety considerations.
