Summary
The Enterprise Data & Analytics (EDA) team is looking to hire an Enterprise Data Risk Specialist. The successful candidate will also be responsible for providing thorough and accurate responses to regulatory inquiries and internal audit requests. This role will involve collaborating with various teams within the organization to gather relevant information and ensure requests related to data are met appropriately.
Major Duties
Carries out the most complex initiatives and ambiguous issues involving Data Risk and Regulations across the entire enterprise. Consistently displays a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liaising with the rest of the business and technology to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity Exhibit strong relationship management skills to ensure key stakeholders are compliant to the Data Policies and Standards including collaborating with internal teams to gather necessary information and documentation. Reviewing and understanding regulatory requirements and audit requests related to data. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations and industry best practices. Developing detailed and well-structured responses to regulatory inquiries and audit requests. Participate in internal committees and forums as well as industry forums and conferences to identify potential data risk for Northern Trust and shape industry change.

Salary Range:
$114,700 - $154,800

Knowledge/Skills
- Excellent analytical skills necessary to validate or challenge data solutions
- In depth knowledge of regulations, federal, state, and local laws related to data acquired through formal education and work experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary to consult with partners/clients, and document data solutions.
- Highly flexible and adaptable to change
- Possess strong leadership and organizational awareness skills
- Preferred knowledge of Risk Data Aggregation and Risk Reporting Regulatory expectation
Experience Required
- Bachelor's Degree or 4 additional years of work history
- 8 or more years of risk and data experience to include some audit response experience or similar
