Role: Cyber Recovery Architect
The Cyber Recovery Architect will be responsible for evaluating and designing complex IT infrastructure solutions across a vast range of technologies within the IT Resiliency Team. The architect must have strong program management skills to work with cross function infrastructure and application owners to assess, design, and implement technical solutions for the Disaster Recovery program. The architect should be able to troubleshoot, identify root cause, and seek a formal solution with other teams as required. This hands-on role must have experience with data center, networking, security, storage, virtualization, database, and middleware technologies.

Role: Cyber Recovery Architect

TheCyber Recovery Architect should have a solid understanding of program management and leadership skills to engage various teams. Responsibilities for this role include:
- Independently implements technical solutions and delivers projects end-to-end working autonomously, while providing updates to stakeholders.
- Performs analysis of complex functional and business requirements. Prepares and delivers solutions for others. Leads design activities, working with architects from various technical teams.
- Demonstrates technical expertise and exerts influence outside of immediate team. Develops innovative team solutions to complex problems. Contributes to strategic direction for teams.
- Applies in-depth or broad technical knowledge to provide maintenance solutions across one or more technology areas.
- Performs solution design in collaboration with multiple stakeholders. Applies new technologies and leads design of highly complex infrastructure and software solutions.
- Integrates technical expertise and business understanding to create superior solutions for the Resiliency Team.
- Evaluates, develop, and oversee resiliency strategy across development and engineering teams.
- Advances the DR automation effort of applications and business capabilities.
- Collaborates closely with teams participating in strategic planning, facilitating cross-team solution reviews, and communicating strategy direction.
- Maintains an effective technical network across technical SMEs and architects for multiple service areas
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years as Technical Architect/Systems Administrator/Systems Engineer operating at enterprise scale.
- 3+ years as a Team lead or project manager role that can engage and deliver projects to completion
- Advanced technical problem-solving skills.
- Practical experience in both technology infrastructure and application development architectures.
- Infrastructure and service architecture & engineering experience, including functional and technical requirements gathering, and solution development.
- Strong system analysis and service development experience.
- Practical experience operating in an Agile development environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Financial or Regulatory domain experience a plus
- VMWare vRO experience a plus
- Service Now experience a plus
- 4+ years of DR experience
- Automation experience
- Familiarity with Fusion a plus
