The Senior Systems Management Analyst works closely with a team of IT professionals in support of Reliant Medical Group's Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR; clinical module called EpicCare) and Optimization Team; supports clinical and optimization projects as they roll up to the overall organizational goals. Supports system and workflows for the successful delivery of goals and initiatives in the area of clinical Epic support.
The Senior Systems Management Analyst functions as the highest-level individual contributor performing advanced programming and systems analysis work to provide support or directions to projects. In addition to these duties, the Senior Systems Management Analyst will provide technical direction, formulate scope and objectives of the system, and develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work. Additional duties include working with the business community to analyze needs, design and writing complex application programs and diagnosing and solving problems along with initiating, overseeing, and coordinating a wide variety of complex programming and analysis projects crossing multiple functional areas. Also this job will serve as a programming lead for projects dealing with current and anticipated system and programming needs and in the implementation of systems of moderate to large scale size and complexity, including those of a highly specialized nature. Lastly, this role will choose programming parameters, guidelines and structure while providing in-depth analysis of issues and proposed solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Reviews and evaluates feasibility studies and prepares recommendations based on in-depth knowledge of problems and potential solutions
- Provides analytical support in the conceptualization, development and implementation of multiple, inter-linked systems and programs
- Plans, designs, and installs integrated computer systems to support management control and decision-making activities
- Understands the necessary Change Management processes to include maintaining and properly updating all testing and training environments
- Performs functions with the appropriate caution on Production machines whether at menu level or programmer access level
- Defines requirements for improving or replacing systems. Studies information needs for current and planned management functions and analyzes sources of required data and methods. Reviews detailed design specifications and recommends modifications as needed
- Assists users with day-to-day problems occurring in programs or databases. Corrects errors by making appropriate changes and then ensuring the desired results are produced before user testing
- Independently utilizes online and written materials as well as professional experience to determine application and programming solutions for organizational challenges. Actively investigates and pursues solutions that are outside the realm of previous experience
- Supports project team during go live
- Demonstrates the ability to create own test data to perform independent testing and verification
- Sets standards for naming and numbering conventions
- Performs independently as the lead for production issues, conference calls and project escalations
- Complies with health and safety requirements and with regulatory agencies such as DPH, etc.

Required Qualifications:
- Epic certification (EpicCare Ambulatory)
- 5+ years of experience in programming and/or analysis experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field
- Epic certification (Order Transmittal, Healthy Planet, Cogito (Reporting Workbench, Dashboards, Slicer/Dicer)
- 3+ years of experience with healthcare analytics
