Role
Under direct supervision of a more senior project manager, a portfolio manager, or a program manager, this position oversees a small project or phase(s) of a larger project and has responsibility for all aspects of the project over the entire project life (initiate, plan, execute, control, close). The project manager must be familiar with system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, to effectively coordinate the activities of the team.
The Project Manager is responsible for the success of assigned orders and is the main point of contact for our customers. This is a customer-facing role and requires the successful candidate to be confident discussing a broad range of topics delivered in a professional manner both written and verbal. The successful Project Manager will need to be comfortable multitasking and prioritizing competing deadlines daily and can make the best business decisions during the various stages of order completion. The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to anticipate and address any potential issues ahead of time to minimize problems during installation. Taking care of the Customer is key.

Responsibilities
- Develops, manages, and communicates the schedule based on overall project parameters, project scope and Customer’s deliverables.
- Communicates and directs the 3form factory and fabrication teams to establish shipping schedules and special instructions.
- Reviews plans and product specifications and provides consultation to specifiers and contractors.
- Procures final approved drawings prior to fabrication and/or final site measurements if necessary. Ensures fabrication drawings are completed and approvals are obtained in accordance with project schedule.
- Maintains detailed project documentation, including key project decisions, customer requests and revisions.
- Provides timely formal written communications throughout the project to the Customer and key stakeholders.
- Ensures installation instructions are completed and delivered in a timely manner and manages all final project closeout requirements including lien waivers etc.
- Confirms project completion and ensures all invoicing is timely and accurate and payment is received.
- Coordinates local installation services.
- Bachelor of Engineering or Construction related degree preferred.
- 2-3+ years of Project Management experience in the construction industry is required.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment and installation experience is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and fabrication drawings is required. Including a working knowledge of construction documents, floor plans, scheduling and the construction process.
- This position will occasionally require travel to the job site.
