Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Business System Analyst with a strong background in SQL and Data Warehousing, specifically within the US Healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards and workflows, and will play a critical role in enhancing our data management and analytical capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements related to healthcare data exchanges.
- Analyze and interpret complex healthcare data, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
- Develop and maintain Source to Target mapping documents to facilitate data integration and reporting.
- Perform data profiling and quality assessments in collaboration with SQL developers and Database Administrators (DBAs).
- Provide expertise in healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7, FHIR, CDA, API, and EDI.
- Leverage strong SQL skills to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into the data warehouse.
- Support the design and implementation of data models that meet business requirements in the healthcare payer domain.
- Assist in identifying and resolving data-related issues, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all datasets.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in healthcare interoperability and data management.
Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience as a Business System Analyst, with a focus on SQL and Data Warehousing.
- Proven experience in US Healthcare Interoperability, including knowledge of health data exchange standards and clinical data terminologies (e.g., SNOMED, CPT, LOINC).
- Strong understanding of the healthcare payer domain, including workflows related to prior authorizations, claims, and clinical data exchange.
- Expertise in SQL, data profiling, and the ability to work closely with technical teams (SQL developers, DBAs).
- Extensive experience in creating Source to Target mapping documents.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in healthcare data management or related fields.
- Familiarity with additional data management tools and technologies.
