We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with expertise in managing software projects within the banking domain to join our dynamic team. This role demands a thorough understanding of Digital Branch , CRM replacement, Online A/C opening, Internet banking, Mobile banking, New Payments platform, Insurance products, Wealth management products along with in-depth knowledge of PMP, Scrum, and CMMI frameworks.

  • Lead and manage multiple software projects within the banking sector, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and status reports, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Utilize deep knowledge of banking industry standards and practices to guide project development and implementation.
  • Apply PMP principles to manage project scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, communication, risk, procurement, and stakeholder management.
  • Implement Scrum practices to facilitate agile project management, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Leverage CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) frameworks to improve project and process quality, ensuring high maturity levels in project execution.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and managing expectations.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings, presentations, and reports to keep stakeholders informed of project status and risks.
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation plans and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Conduct project risk assessments and ensure risk management strategies are effectively implemented.
  • Ensure projects meet quality standards and compliance requirements through rigorous testing and validation processes.
  • Implement continuous improvement practices to enhance project delivery and outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master s degree is preferred.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required.
  • Scrum Master Certification (CSM or equivalent) is highly desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) frameworks.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in managing software projects with 3+yrs in the banking domain.
  • Experience in any of Digital Branch, CRM replacement, Online A/C opening, Internet banking, Mobile banking, New Payments platform, Insurance products, Wealth management products
  • Proven experience in Business/IT Projects, IT Security Projects, Compliance/Regulatory/Industry Projects, Infrastructure Projects, and Premises Projects.
  • Strong understanding of banking regulations, industry standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
