Our client is seeking a skilled Emergency Center RN to join a brand-new Level 2 trauma unit, providing high-quality professional nursing care for assigned patients. This role involves patient assessment, developing and implementing care plans, and evaluating outcomes. The ideal candidate will deliver top-tier care that aligns with the hospital s core mission and values. This is an urgent hiring opportunity for all shifts, with 12-hour shifts available.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform all job responsibilities in alignment with organizational values, mission, and vision.
  • Maintain current knowledge in areas of responsibility through self-education and attending educational programs.
  • Attend staff meetings and complete mandatory in-services and competency evaluations.
  • Provide care to patients of all ages, demonstrating competency based on patient needs.
  • Follow hospital and departmental attendance and punctuality guidelines.
  • Wear protective clothing and equipment as necessary.

Must-Haves:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing from a state-accredited school.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (or must obtain within 1 year of hire).
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a current Georgia license.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (must be obtained within 6 months of hire).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Advanced Stroke Life Support (ASLS) (must be obtained within 2 years of hire).
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification (must be obtained within 2 years of hire).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, with basic computer proficiency.

Nice to Haves:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from a state-accredited school.
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.

Base salary: $37-46/hour

  • Critical care pay: $5/hour
  • Night shift differential: $5/hour
  • Weekend shift differential: $3.50/hour
