Overview:
The Campus Recruiter (6-Month Contract) will be responsible for sourcing, pipelining and recruitment of early talent program hires (extern, intern, co-op, postdoc, etc.) at AbbVie. This role is intended to be a 6-month contractor position and will be based in Lake County, IL at AbbVie's AP34 building. This role will also operate within AbbVie's hybrid Ways We Work model with three days in the office.

Overview:
The Campus Recruiter (6-Month Contract) will be responsible for sourcing, pipelining and recruitment of early talent program hires (extern, intern, co-op, postdoc, etc.) at AbbVie. This role is intended to be a 6-month contractor position and will be based in Lake County, IL at AbbVie's AP34 building. This role will also operate within AbbVie's hybrid Ways We Work model with three days in the office.
Responsibilities:
- Managing candidates through recruitment process of various early talent programs (extern, intern, co-op, postdoc, etc.); including sourcing, pipelining, pre-screening, candidate communications, documenting candidate progress in appropriate systems, extending offers and other recruitment-related processes as needed
- Being a strategic talent advisor to our business partners by leveraging data and market trends to develop innovative university recruitment attraction and sourcing strategies aligned to business priorities
- Building talent pools via CRM for future opportunities and communications
- Supporting intern programming and event logistics planning and execution
- Supporting other Early Talent Pipeline efforts and special projects as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- 1-3 years of related recruitment experience required; campus recruitment experience preferred
- Experience supporting recruitment in R&D and Operations/Manufacturing functions preferred
- Proficiency in recruiting systems and technology such as SmartRecruiters, Yello, WayUp, Handshake, LinkedIn.
- Demonstrated sourcing skills in LinkedIn or other sourcing platforms, with a proven ability to identify, attract, and engage top talent through various channels and networks
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively influence and communicate with others at all levels in an organization
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
- Enthusiasm for talent and the desire to help shape future leaders
