We are currently helping our client, a K-12 school district, with their search for a Senior Business Analyst.
JOB SUMMARY:
The primary responsibility will be supporting user security for multiple products, including overall access, user security and maintenance, page and field security, and participation in the future automation of an enterprise Identity Access Management (IAM) solution.
This position reports to the IT Manager on the Student Systems and Support Team.
Responsibilities/Duties
- Support/manage multiple medium-sized security project initiatives.
- Support daily operational security management activities.
- Manage security tickets/issues to resolution.
- Collaborate in designing, implementing, improving, and supporting IAM policies.
Required Skills
- 7-10 years of Business Analysis and Process Engineering.
- 3-5 years of Student Information Systems.
- 5-7years Quality/Software Assurance.
- 3-5 years of exposure to Security/Identity and Access Management Framework, Processes and Tools.
- Requirements and Process Management & Documentation.
- Experience managing and maintaining user accounts & system access privileges.
- Familiar with ETL processes.
Required Technical Skills
- Familiarity with multiple Operating Systems (Windows, Linux, etc.).
- Familiarity with security-related Directory Services (Active Directory, LDAP etc.).
- Experience working with Enterprise IAM tools.
- Proficiency with using Excel, data analysis macros, and writing/updating complex queries.
- Familiarity with understanding data, data models, and entity relationship diagrams/schemas.
- Technical configuration experience, especially supporting enterprise security tools and applications.
- Experience working with Enterprise Ticket/Issue tracking solutions.
- Experience working with Student Information Systems (SIS), K-12 Business Processes and Systems.
- Experience working with Microsoft SharePoint and Azure DevOps
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years leading an IT operations team supporting enterprise-grade software systems.
- Systems administration and software applications technical support background.
- Change management experience.
- Team and relationship building and collaboration.
- Understand the needs of a best-practice and high-performing IT team.
- Understand the software development life cycle.
- Experience using a digital workflow product for incident, request, demand, resource management, automation, and user support requests. I.E., ServiceNow
- Leadership and people skills, team engagement (both work and non-work)
- Technical debt reduction
- Cloud hosting and migration
- Detail analysis and documentation.
- Planning skills, adaptability, decision making
- Bachelor s Degree
Desired Qualifications
- Student Information Systems, preferably PowerSchool
- PMO Certification
- Experience executing a Kanban operation approach.
- ITIL certifications
- Agile certification
- IT security-related qualifications
- IT Information Systems Architecture experience
- IT Enterprise Architecture experience
Location: Seattle (SODO neighborhood), Hybrid/Remote schedule
Length of Assignment: 12-month contract-to-hire position
Compensation Range: $40-$50/hour depending on experience
