As the Product Marketing Manager, reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive, compelling ideal customer profile (ICPs), messaging and positioning to drive market adoption, revenue growth, and customer success for our business units. You will work closely with the Demand Generation, Product Management, Pricing and Sales teams to position and differentiate software solutions, generate customer insights, and help develop effective go-to-market plans.

This is a fully remote role, candidates must reside in the US

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Messaging & Positioning: Collaborate with newly acquired business units to clarify their ideal customer profile (ICP) and create clear, values-based messaging that differentiates their software solutions and drives product awareness, adoption, and revenue growth. Develop persuasive positioning statements and use cases tailored to each company's unique value proposition, ensuring alignment with customer pain points and market needs
  • Quick Start Guide Development: Consolidate these insights into a comprehensive "Quick Start Guide" that can be used to accelerate onboarding for the relevant internal and external parties
  • Data-Driven Market Insights: When necessary, collaborate with business units to conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews. Utilize data-driven insights to refine product positioning, messaging, and prioritize key product features
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate between Product Management, Sales, Pricing and the Marketing teams to gather feedback, align strategies, and facilitate communication across HQ and business units. Promote the sharing of best practices to optimize product marketing efforts throughout the portfolio
  • Content & Sales Enablement Support: Serve as an advisory resource to help business units create engaging marketing collateral such as white papers, case studies, and blog posts. Ensure the sales/SDR teams are equipped with effective collateral, including battlecards and demo scripts, to drive market engagement
  • Performance Metrics & Continuous Improvement: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives. Analyze data related to audience engagement, funnel conversion, and revenue growth to identify areas for optimization and improvement

Qualifications:

  • 6 or more years experience in Product Marketing, preferably in the SaaS/software industry.
  • Proven track record of developing effective Ideal customer profiles and positioning that lead to revenue growth.
  • You have demonstrated experience translating market needs into product requirements, product positioning, and messaging and establishing target customer personas, and proof points.
  • Strong knowledge of product marketing best practices, including market research, messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills with the ability to gather and analyze market and customer insights.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts and value propositions.
  • Collaborative and cross-functional mindset with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Data-driven mindset with proficiency in using analytics tools to measure and optimize marketing performance.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
