The Ask? Client is looking for an experienced Senior SAP PP/QM Consultant with a strong background in SAP S/4 HANA. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of production planning and quality management processes, with the ability to configure and optimize these functionalities to meet business requirements, particularly in the pharmaceutical sector. SAP certification and experience in the pharma domain are advantageous.
Skills and Experience
- Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP PP and QM configuration and implementation.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience in SAP S/4 HANA implementation projects, specifically focusing on PP and QM functionalities.
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong understanding of SAP PP functionalities, including MRP, production orders, capacity planning, and demand management.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP QM processes, including inspection planning, quality control, quality notifications, and audit management.
- Experience with integrating PP and QM with other SAP modules such as SD, MM, and PM.
- Certifications: SAP certification in SAP PP, SAP QM, or S/4 HANA is highly desirable.
- Other Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects on time in fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities_
- Solution Design and Configuration:
- Lead the design and configuration of the SAP PP and QM modules in S/4 HANA to support production planning and quality management processes.
- Configure production planning functionalities such as MRP, production orders, and capacity planning in alignment with business needs.
- Implement quality management processes including inspection planning, quality notifications, and non-conformance management to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- S/4 HANA Implementation:
- Participate in full lifecycle SAP S/4 HANA implementation projects, focusing on integrating PP and QM functionalities.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct blueprinting sessions, and ensure alignment with production and quality objectives.
- Support data migration activities, ensuring accurate transfer of master and transactional data related to production and quality processes.
- Process Optimization:
- Testing and Validation:
- Develop and execute test plans for PP and QM processes, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional requirements and business scenarios.
- User Training and Support:
- Conduct training sessions for end-users and super-users on SAP PP and QM functionalities to ensure effective usage and understanding of processes.
- Provide post-go-live support for production and quality processes, troubleshooting issues and offering guidance on system functionalities.
- Collaboration and Leadership:
- Work closely with other module experts (e.g., SD, MM, PM) to ensure integrated and streamlined processes across the SAP landscape.
