About The Role
- The Aerial Construction Supervisor is a role responsible for overseeing the aerial operations in an underground environment.
- Supervise and lead a team of laborers and other personnel in the aerial operations.
- Ensure that all aerial operations are carried out safely and in compliance with the company's safety standards and regulations.
- Plan and coordinate aerial activities to meet production targets and ensure that applicable equipment is maintained and serviced properly.
- Ensure that all records are properly maintained and reported accurately.
- Monitor the aerial operations and identify potential problems or issues and implement solutions to ensure that aerial activities are not interrupted.
- Train and mentor new personnel and ensure that all personnel are trained in safety procedures.
- Ensure that equipment and materials are stocked and ordered in a timely manner.
- Carry out regular inspections of applicable equipment to identify and correct any defects or issues.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of drilling equipment and techniques.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work in an underground mining environment.
- Physical ability to work in a confined space and lift heavy equipment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Several years of experience in underground mining drilling operations
- Have a valid Driver's License to operate company vehicles
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test (illegal and legal substances)
