- Experience in Agile, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Product Mindset, ITIL, & Waterfall frameworks

Day to Day
Insight Global is hiring a Program Manager to join one of the world's largest agricultural companies. The ideal candidate will be managing a multi-year, multi-million-dollar transformational program that spans all areas of IT. This position will be located in the Des Moines, Iowa Metro and potential multi-year contract working 40 hours per week on Insight Global's W2, with benefit (health, vision, dental, 401k) options available.
Responsibilities Include:
- Collaborate with Project Sponsors to determine and understand the outcomes of the project (objectives, deliverables, requirements)
- Define and communicate the short and long term aims of the program
- Set a program governance structure and work environment of transparency and visibility to: the customers needs, the work, roles & responsibilities of the workstreams, the program risks/issues/dependencies, work assignments, program status and next steps
- Build a program team to efficiently execute the work of the program (onboarding, program financials, meeting logistics, resolving issues/risks)
- Proven ability to build, manage and control execution of programs in large, complex environments that move at a fast pace, working with 50+ member teams, 10+applications, and spanning more than one business area
- Determine resource needs, identify the resources and secure commitments for the work
- Assign work, monitor activity and report status and progress
- Optimize the program execution for velocity, efficiency and effectiveness
- Manage relationships and resolve conflicts by direct action or facilitation
- Seek out and remove program ambiguity. Resolve Conflicts
- Lead the program execution, setting the example for work ethic and approach
- Accountable for project financials, dependencies and cross collaboration within IT and business.
- Hold others accountable for their commitments, escalating issues where necessary
Compensation:
$80/hr to $90/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
