Akima Data Management is looking for a System Administrator / Asset Manager who can join our superior team.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements equipment asset management policies and procedures, including acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and disposal of all equipment assets
  • Manages equipment inventory and ensures that all equipment assets are properly tracked and accounted
  • Develops and implements a preventative maintenance program to ensure that equipment assets are properly maintained and repaired
  • Develops and manages a system for tracking equipment maintenance and repair histories
  • Ensures that equipment assets are disposed of in accordance with agency policies and procedures
  • Develops and maintains a budget for equipment asset management activities
  • Coordinates with other departments to ensure that equipment assets are properly secured and accounted
  • Develops and maintains monthly asset status
  • Assists with Information Assurances responsibilities by ensuring classified network assess requests are accurate, complete, and properly prepared for approval and processing after a new user has completed the necessary training
  • Manages user accounts in Microsoft Active Directory
  • Receives, proofreads, and processes "TELEGRAMS" for both the Classified and Unclassified networks utilizing the Secure Messaging and Retrieval Tool (SMART)
  • Updates service support utilizing ITSM tool

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in equipment asset management
  • Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Strong knowledge of Windows equipment asset management principles and practices
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing equipment asset management policies and procedures
  • Good understanding of backup and disaster recovery processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Service Now and other relevant software applications
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail

Pay Range

$100,000 to $115,000
