Introduction
We are looking for another Sales Engineer to join our team. This position is perfect for an engineer that already has some experience in the controls field and the desire for career long advancement. We have 3 progressive pay grades for this position as experience and growth builds.
Our engineers usually have a specialization but excel in all engineering and technical disciplines. Our most successful individuals are capable of problem solving with a broad understandings of all aspects working in harmony together. Interpersonal and communication skills are also valuable in a technical environment.

About Custom Control Mfr.
Custom Control is a well-established, fast-growing, family-owned private company located in Overland Park, KS. We develop and integrate control systems for industry. For example, we manufacture controls for solar power generation and storage, food processing, airport fueling, and many others.

Job Qualifications
Please refer to the attached job description for the required education, experience and skills. In short, we are creative problem solvers. This particular job opening does have several specific requirements:
- Technical:
- Industrial automation experience preferred
- oil/gas, industrial manufacturing, power
- networking and telecom experience
- Project development and project management experience a plus
- Experience with fueling or aviation customers and automation principles
- Experience with common PLC/DCS platforms (Rockwell Automation, Schneider Electric, Emerson)
- Industrial automation experience preferred
- Business Development:
- Development of aviation fueling opportunities
- Experience developing scopes of work with Engineering firms and EPC contractors
- Development of sales solutions with end users (aviation fueling operators & airlines)
- Review of performance specifications and pre-designed bid packages
- Development of solutions and quote development/quotation packages
- Creation and delivery of technical sales presentations for small/large groups
- Development of aviation fueling opportunities
- Travel:
- As required to customer sites:
- AE/EPC firms
- Airports across the United States
- Active & recently completed jobsites
- As required to customer sites:
