Serve as an expert for obtaining air permits and managing air compliance programs for the Salt Lake City plant assets.
Assist with compliance solutions for a variety of complex technical/regulatory issues.
Work closely with plant technical, projects, operations, and maintenance teams and develop strong relationships to understand specific processes and develop a permitting and compliance strategy to ensure support to maintain regulatory compliance while meeting the plants strategic objectives.
Achieve expectations for scope, budget, schedule, and quality.
Manage deliverables and schedules to established KPIs.
Provide training as needed to staff to ensure air quality program knowledge.
Conduct independent technical reviews of air quality programs to ensure compliance and quality environmental management programs.
Maintain and continuously improve the Environmental Management System for Air Quality programs.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
v Minimum of BS in engineering (chemical, mechanical, environmental) or related discipline.
v At least 5 years of solid air quality experience, with a high degree of technical competence in Permitting, NSPS, PSD, NSR, BACT, LAER, and MACT requirements. Specific UDEQ experience a plus.
v In-depth understanding of the Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Technology, and Chemical industry.
v Familiarity with CEMS, COMS, CPMS, stack testing and fence line monitoring measurement a plus.
v Demonstrated leadership ability to build, coach, and mentor collaborative teams.
