Summary

As a Test Engineer at Gainwell, you will be a part of an innovative healthcare technology company with a mission to serve the healthcare needs of our communities. You will use your software testing skills and business knowledge to drive the development of healthcare administration products used, and relied upon, by millions of patients. Your role in our mission

  • Participates as a member of a Testing Team.
  • Utilizing the Gainwell testing methodology, applies specialization to develop a Test Plan for a test level to be executed for a project, as specified in the Testing Strategy for the project.
  • Coordinates and collaborates with others in analyzing collected requirements to ensure the Test Plan and identified testing solutions meet customer and Gainwell expectations.
  • Assists in the preparation of estimates for the performance of the various activities defined in the Test Plan.
  • Designs and executes complex testing scenarios and test cases that will demonstrate conformance to all functional and non-functional requirements, relative to the test level, as defined in business or technical specifications.
  • Reviews and analyzes test results to confirm, establish, and communicate the cause of the discrepancy.
  • Identifies inadequacies and improvement opportunities in the methods/standards and recommends changes.


What we're looking for

  • 3 or more years of experience in Manual/Functional testing; Healthcare, and Medicaid testing preferred.
  • SQL, ALM (preferred), Defect Management.
  • Ability to write Test Plans & Test Cases; Execute test cases and track Defects.
  • Verbal and written communication skills are necessary.

The pay range for this position is $54,500 - $70,600 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
