Manufacturing Waste Reduction Specialist: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and engineering, with expertise in Six Sigma methodologies. This role is critical in identifying and addressing systemic issues in manufacturing processes to reduce waste and improve efficiency.Key Responsibilities:1. Problem Identification:o Identify recurring issues in the manufacturing process, particularly line stoppages and defective parts.o Conduct thorough root cause analysis to address underlying problems rather than symptomatic solutions.2. Root Cause Analysis:o Lead root cause analysis efforts at the manufacturing plants for various high-speed manufacturing and assembly lines.o Develop and propose solutions to address systemic issues causing line stoppages and defects.3. Long-Term Solution Focus:o Emphasize the importance of long-term solutions over quick fixes.o Implement sustainable improvements to manufacturing processes to reduce waste and enhance efficiency.4. Technical Expertise:o Utilize a strong engineering background to effectively analyze and solve technical problems.o Apply Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements and waste reduction.5. Decision-Making:o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and objectives.Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred. Proven experience in root cause analysis and implementing long-term solutions in a manufacturing environment. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Strong communication and project management skills. (1.) To ensure process improvement and compliance in the assigned module, and participate in technical discussionsorreview. (2.) To create work plans, monitor and track the work schedule for on time delivery as per the defined quality standards. (3.) To prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations. (4.) To develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.
