The Risk Manager will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with the company's information technology infrastructure. This role involves developing and implementing risk management strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of our IT systems.
Responsibilities
- Identify and assess operational risks within IT landscape.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies and plans.
- Monitor and manage risks associated with operations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation plans when required.
- Create and maintain risk management policies and procedures.
- Ensure effective communication of risk management policies and procedures.
- Provide training and support to staff on risk management practices.
- Work closely with various departments to identify potential risks.
- Prepare and present risk management reports to senior management.
- Monitor and analyze risk trends and emerging risks.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address risk-related issues.
- Conduct regular reviews and updates of risk management processes.
- Develop and maintain risk management tools and systems.
- Participate in risk management committees and working groups.
- Provide guidance and support to junior risk management staff.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory changes.
- Conduct internal audits and reviews to ensure compliance with risk management policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in risk management, finance, business administration, or a related field.
- Professional certification in risk management (e.g., CRM, FRM) is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operational risk management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and implement effective risk management strategies.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Experience with risk assessment and mitigation techniques.
- Proficiency in risk management tools and systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive and detail-oriented approach to work.
- Experience in conducting internal audits and reviews.
- Ability to prepare and present risk management reports.
- Strong project management skills.
