PDS Tech is currently recruiting for a Field Service Specialist to work in Leesburg, FL!
Job Title: Field Service Specialist
Contract: Long term to perm for right person
Location: Leesburg, FL Area
Pay: 18.00 an hour
Job Overview:
The Field Service Specialist will conduct R&D installation work to support the an Electric Project, focusing primarily on the installation of electric meters. This role requires working outdoors in varied weather conditions, utilizing data collection tools such as handheld tablet computers. The Field Service Specialist will work efficiently, uphold quality standards, and maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with local utility customers. Client provides all necessary training, certifications, and equipment for this position.
Responsibilities:
Perform electric meter installation as part of R&D initiatives on the Electric Project.
Operate handheld tablet computers and other data collection tools to accurately document work.
Maintain professionalism when interacting with local utility customers, addressing any questions or concerns with courtesy.
Follow safety guidelines and company protocols during field operations in diverse weather conditions.
Requirements:
Must-Have:
Clean driving record with a valid driver s license; must pass an MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) check.
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to work in all outdoor environments, including extreme temperatures.
Qualifications:
Basic technical skills, along with written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to work independently, identify and analyze issues, and resolve them efficiently.
Familiarity with mobile devices.
Adherence to Federal, State, and Local driving regulations, company safety policies, and additional regulatory requirements, including OSHA standards.
This role offers a hands-on opportunity to support a high-impact project in the field with a focus on safety, quality, and customer service.
Pay Details: 18.00 per hour
