About The Position
This Certification Support team member supports the certification department by processing intern assignments, reviewing certification requirements, monitoring intern employment resignations, and assisting with other compliance related tasks with a high level of accuracy, quality, and attention to detail. This role is responsible for conducting internal audits, regularly attending meetings, and creating procedural updates in accordance with the rules and regulations of the state regulatory agency. Additionally, this role must maintain a current understanding of education codes related to program requirements as well as interpreting these codes to ensure compliance.

About The Position
This Certification Support team member supports the certification department by processing intern assignments, reviewing certification requirements, monitoring intern employment resignations, and assisting with other compliance related tasks with a high level of accuracy, quality, and attention to detail. This role is responsible for conducting internal audits, regularly attending meetings, and creating procedural updates in accordance with the rules and regulations of the state regulatory agency. Additionally, this role must maintain a current understanding of education codes related to program requirements as well as interpreting these codes to ensure compliance.
Key Responsibilities (Individual Contributor)
- Implement policies and procedures to uphold state laws and regulations
- Review candidate employment for internship placement in an accredited school
- Process employment changes during the academic school year for certified interns
- Understand how to search and interpret code for initial rules regarding program requirements
- Work closely with IT to make updates to the Teachers of Tomorrow operating system
- Process certifications and candidate enrollments within the regulatory agency website
- Assist Advisors and other departments with certification inquiries
- Effectively communicate with districts regarding potential candidates and interns serving internships on their campuses
- Assist districts in understanding laws as they relate to intern assignments
- Identify candidates who are out of compliance and take measures to address potential certification issues
- Process Principal Recommendations for each intern completing certification
- Participate in ongoing intern auditing as it relates to candidate’s placement and certification requirements
- Submit certification deactivations, reactivations, and amendments to education preparation personnel
- Act in accordance with Teachers of Tomorrow core values
- Bachelor’s degree from a leading university with academic excellence or commensurate experience in an educational or professional administrative capacity
- 2 or more years of experience in a heavy customer service or sales-oriented position
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
