We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Project Manager/Sr. Consultant in the construction/contractor industry, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The role involves managing various aspects of a workday initiative and coordinating with both internal and external teams.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the execution and implementation of the Phase two efforts of Workday which include Advanced Comp, Talent and L& D
Coordinate tasks and align the delivery of scope items amongst multiple individuals
Manage relationships with a third-party integrator, ensuring that they face no roadblocks or delays
Exhibit effective communication and presentation skills for multiple layers of teams
Oversee data migration from old systems to the new modules in Workday
Ensure vendor management/accountability by working closely with the Vendor Project Manager
Manage the client's side of the project rollout
Leverage the use of Smartsheet for project management
Work in an Agile/iterative environment, with a focus on iterative processes
Ensure necessary Workday experience is leveraged for the most effective project execution. Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in the construction or contractor industry.
Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager or Senior Consultant is essential.
Proficiency in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems is required.
Specific experience with Workday ERP is highly desirable.
Must exhibit strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
Proven track record of managing large-scale projects from inception to completion.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
detail oriented certifications such as PMP (Project Management detail oriented) are a plus.
Must be able to demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism.
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Must be willing to travel as required for project needs.
