The Peer Support Specialist must have previous life experience with substance use and be in active recovery.

Position Details

Provide quality services that facilitate recovery and wellness for women with substance use concerns and their families. Services are client-centered, delivered in the home/community and include case management, support and sharing of personal history with and knowledge of substance use and mental health recovery. Employees are support in this work through comprehensive benefits, quality supervision, flexible scheduling, an engaging work culture, trainings, as well as career advancement opportunities. Position Requirements:

  • Proven ability to address the recovery needs of individuals
  • Proven ability to share personal recovery journey in a support way, even if recovery path is different from that of the client
  • Valid Driver s License, current auto insurance and clean driving history
  • Current certification as a Peer Recovery Coach or ability to pursue the certification
