About the role

As a Commercial Account Executive, you will find and close new business to technical buyers in top management in the Large Enterprise space. You will excel through a consultative sales approach, managing a robust pipeline, and focusing on collaborative and productive relationships with each other and our customers.

This role is ideal for sales professionals who are passionate about technology and security, have a strong business acumen, and are skilled at building relationships and closing deals within the commercial market.

What you'll do
  • Identify and qualify potential commercial clients through research, prospecting, and networking.
  • Develop a deep understanding of client needs and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Lead the sales process from lead generation through close including presentations, negotiations, and contract signing.
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets and KPIs.
  • Develop business plans, which align to the assigned geographic and business needs.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop and execute marketing plans through/with end users and partners.
  • Follow-up on all leads supplied and ensure internal systems are updated.
  • Marshal and lead the appropriate technical resources to demonstrate Analyst1's advantages to the customer.
  • Follow-up with clients and work with Analyst1 post-sale account managers to ensure consistent and ongoing coverage of accounts including new sales opportunities.
  • Understand and work in all aspects of the sales cycle, including qualifying, presentations, demonstrations, RFP responses, negotiations and the closing process.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the territory including the customers, the prospects, the partners, the influencers, and the competitors.
  • Understand and communicate all product and technological strategies employed by competitive and complementary organizations in the Analyst1 market space.
  • Maintain the highest level of customer and partner satisfaction within the accounts in your territory.
  • Coordinate, plan, and schedule sales support functions with Technical Sales staff.
  • Demonstrate the ability to create and manage conversations at all business and technical levels of a client's organization from their CEO to a CTI/SOC Analyst.
What you'll bring
  • 7+ years of B2B sales experience, with 3 years selling enterprise SaaS products and services.
  • Proven success in a quota-oriented sales environment and an understanding of technology and technological innovations.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Proven negotiation skills and the ability to persuade and influence decision makers and executives. Effective at presenting to executive management, i.e. C-Level
  • Professionalism, personal integrity, a high internal commitment to achieve success, the ability to build and maintain a vast network of professional relationships over a long period of time, strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or global equivalent in an IT, business or sales related field.
Bonus if you have
  • Experience with threat intelligence providers and/or threat intelligence platforms.
  • Network of relationships from customers to partners/resellers they can leverage for immediate traction.

This is a Base + Commission incentivized role. The US base salary for this full-time position starts at $125k

Analyst1 salary ranges are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum base target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, location and relevant education or training.
