Our client, Ellis Design Group, is looking for Junior and Senior Level Interior Designers. Ellis Design Group is a thriving multi-faceted design firm offering architectural and interior design services for both commercial and residential applications. The ideal candidate possesses talent, energy, technical skills, organizational ability, and is client-focused. They should also have experience with the interior design process from conception through installation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible work environment. SUMMARY

The Junior and Senior Level Interior Designer's primary responsibilities include design, architectural, interior, and decorative drafting, project management, furniture and fabric sourcing, vendor coordination, client communication, and construction specification. The ideal candidate is a team player who possesses a sophisticated eye for design and a willingness to contribute creatively to a wide variety of residential and commercial design projects. Must also be comfortable with onsite visits and installations, be self-assured, and able to lead times and hold subcontractors and vendors accountable.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Architectural drafting and rendering, including hand rendering
  • Construction specification
  • Manage client, vendor, and subcontractor communications
  • Scheduling and project management
  • Perform onsite visits and prepare progress reports
  • Communicate with vendors and track orders

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Interior Design and/or Architecture
  • Previous experience in a design firm required
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUP
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and World
  • Proficiency in macOS and iOS
  • Self-starter with ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Reliable, focused, and detail-oriented
  • Collaborative
