Summary:

Atomica is seeking a passionate and talented Product Engineer to lead and own the product lifecycle for the smallest, fastest, highest performing switch in the world. This is a high impact role and a unique opportunity to bring the first ohmic MEMS switch built on all Si technology to market and introduce technology that the market has never seen! This revolutionary technology is going to impact all industries by replacing older switch technology as well as greatly reduce carbon emissions through more efficient switching!

As a key player within our R&D team you will drive the development and completion of product qualification, characterization, qualification reports, and production plan. As a product engineer you will have the opportunity to grow the role into a leadership position.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and own the product life cycle
  • Start product qualification plan and tasks
  • Run experiments to debug and characterize new products
  • Generate detailed product qualification reports
  • Identify root cause for failures and propose product failure containment and corrective/preventative actions
  • Plan and execute product reliability tests
  • Develop plan to move product from development to high-volume production
  • Collaborate with the test team to deliver and make decisions on the electrical measurements

Requirements:

  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering with minimum 4+ years of Product Engineering industry experience.
  • Experience with oscilloscope, VNA, amplifiers, signal generator, SMU, and RF subsystems
  • Experience with electrical circuit analysis, hardware understanding and design, reliability tests, end of life tests, and generating qualification reports
  • Understanding of product qualification and new product introduction
  • Software debug and root cause analysis
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong technical and analytical skills
  • Must be US Persons (US Citizen or Green Card holder)

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience with programming languages, Python and LabVIEW
  • Experience with JMP statistical analysis software
  • Experience taking a product from development to production
  • Drive to be a team leader
  • Experience with Ohmic RF Switches
  • Strong passion for innovation
