  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Note: We are working hybrid with at least 1-2 days per week in the office (Temecula, CA). During onboarding you will likely need to be 3-4 days per week.

What would I do at ASM?

With thousands of hospitals across the world, you would help manage third party data sources and integrations. You would automate the collection, cleaning, and linking of public sources. You would help monitor and ensure the data is available, fast, and reliable for verification, querying, and reporting in our applications.

Who is the ideal candidate?

You understand the importance of user experience, quality, and reliability. You empathize with the struggles of end-users and advocate on their behalf. You get excited solving design and performance challenges with other developers, building reusable components, and then continuing to improve those services and components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Extract, clean, and transform data from diverse sources such as databases, APIs, flat files, and external systems.
  • Develop and maintain robust ETL processes to automate data integration and ensure data quality.
  • Write efficient and scalable SQL queries to transform and aggregate data for business needs.
  • Collaborate with the product team and integration partners to understand data requirements and implement datalutions.
  • Ensure the consistency, accuracy, and reliability of data by implementing best practices for data governance
  • Optimize and maintain data pipelines for continuous integration and delivery of data.
  • Monitor data performance and troubleshoot issues related to data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
  • Monitor and validate updates and issues with third-party data sources
  • Document data engineering processes, workflows, and solutions for internal knowledge sharing.

Required Skills

  • Experience with RDBMS (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, etc) with writing and maintaining SQL Queries, tables, views, indexes, etc
  • Experience with ETLs Azure Data Factory, SSIS, or related technologies
  • Experience with extracting data from Excel, CSV, etc
  • Familiarity extracting data from the web file downloads, APIs, etc
  • Familiarity dealing with unstructured data sources

Preferred Skills

  • Creating meaningful alerts for missing/old data, process failures etc
  • Experience with Terraform/Terraform Cloud for creating Azure/AWS resources
