Position Description

YOU WILL SERVE AS AN INTERDISCIPLINARY INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER/OPERATIONS RESEARCH ANALYST IN THE SYSTEMS ACQUISITION GROUP, COST & SCHEDULE ANALYSIS DEPT, ACQUISITION COST ESTIMATING & ANALYSIS DIV OF NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. If selected, your salary will be set according to the established control points of this position which is equivalent to GS-14, Step 10: $139,395 - $181, 216.

Position Duties/Responsibilities
  • ADD You will serve as a point of contact with the customer on behalf of the Acquisition Cost Estimating and Analysis (ACEA) Division, acting in the role of the Cost Team Lead (CTL) and perform analytical duties as required.
  • You will provide technical support of products and services to program office customers on behalf of the Cost and Schedule Analysis Department.
  • You will perform Acquisition Cost Estimating and Analysis for primarily complex systems in all phases of the life cycle (development, production, and sustainment).
  • You will direct and lead the day-to-day operations of the Team and perform analytical duties as required.
  • You will ensure cost estimating/analysis principles, processes, techniques, and tools are applied properly thereby ensuring that all cost products are accurate, timely, and consistent and meet Cost and Schedule Analysis Department quality standards.
  • You will develop/conduct informal and formal training sessions for junior members of your immediate team
