What impact you'll make
We are seeking Plant Standards and Validation Lead Controls Engineer for a world class engineering team that is responsible for the development and maintenance of standards and the NPI (New Product Introduction), as well as testing and validation of Plant controls. Through innovation and active partnering with other GE engineering teams and external customers you will have the opportunity to design, implement and automate validation strategies for control software for HRSG/BOP and integrated plant level controls. You will be empowered, work in a Scaled Agile Framework environment (SAFe) driving meaningful change and continuous improvement using Lean principles. This role requires some autonomy and some judgement in more complicated environment. In addition to closely collaborating with our internal & external customers explaining information to get consensus, this role is critical in driving a culture of technical domain depth, contemporary leadership, on-time quality execution and strong customer-focused mindset.

Nous sommes la recherche d'un/e ingnieur(e) Validation des systmes de contrle et normes relatives aux centrales pour diriger une quipe d'ingnieurs de classe mondiale, en charge du dveloppement et de la maintenance des normes et des NPI (introduction de nouveaux produits), ainsi que des tests et de la validation des systmes de contrle des centrales. Grce l'innovation et un partenariat actif avec d'autres quipes d'ingnierie GE et des clients externes, vous serez amen(e) concevoir, mettre en ?uvre et automatiser des stratgies de validation pour les logiciels de contrle destins aux chaudires de rcupration de chaleur/systmes auxiliaires (BOP) et pour les mcanismes de contrle intgrs au niveau de la centrale. Vous travaillerez dans un environnement Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) et vous mettrez en place des changements significatifs et des amliorations continues en utilisant les principes Lean. Ce poste ncessite un certain niveau d'autonomie et de jugement dans un environnement complexe. Outre le fait d'entretenir une collaboration troite avec nos clients internes et externes, en prsentant des informations prcises afin d'obtenir un consensus, le/la titulaire de ce poste joue un rle essentiel dans la diffusion d'une culture axe sur les comptences techniques, le leadership moderne, la qualit, le respect des dlais ainsi qu'une forte orientation client.

Job Description

What you'll do
  • Design, develop and execute strategies to gather and define requirements, and validate Plant standard control application software, comprising of HRSG and Balance of Plant (BOP), against requirements while creating a permanent linkage between requirement and standards artifacts.
  • Design, develop and execute strategies to gather and define requirements and validate Plant (HRSG and BOP) control application software against project and program specific requirements using standards artifacts as a basis.
  • Work with the technical leaders, Control Title Holders, internal customers, and external customers to gather control and operability requirements to deliver a quality product on time to meet Power Plant startups and commissioning activities.
  • Define and deliver productivity and process improvements that increase the capacity of the Plant Controls team.
  • Lead and support Agile enterprise tool strategies including CLM & PLM integration

What you'll bring (Basic Qualifications)
  • Bachelors of Science in Engineering, Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical or related engineering or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience of which minimum of 3 years controls engineering experience

  • Strong technical skills and expertise and substantive experience in Integrated Combined Cycle Plant Control in HRSG, Balance of Plant using Mark VIe

  • Dfinir et apporter des amliorations de productivit et de processus visant dvelopper les capacits de l'quipe en charge des systmes de contrle de la centrale
  • Diriger et soutenir les stratgies d'outils d'entreprise agiles, y compris l'intgration CLM et PLM

Ce que vous apporterez (qualifications de base)
  • Bac +3 en ingnierie, en lectricit, en chimie, en mcanique ou dans un domaine technique connexe, ou connaissances et exprience quivalentes
  • Au moins 5 ans d'exprience dans un domaine connexe, dont au moins 3 ans dans le domaine de l'ingnierie des systmes de contrle

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $98,400.00 - 164,000.00 USD annually. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, geographic location, and skill set.

This position is also eligible for a 10% annual performance bonus. This position will stay open on the career website until at least 10/30/2024.

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%,120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
