We are looking for a highly motivated and innovative Architect for the Cloud Pack platform-based solutions, who'll join our IBM Data & AI Software services organization, the Technology Expert Labs, in the beautiful city of Krakw, Poland. As individual contributor this position will work directly with cross functional teams, product management, support and engineering to build and transform data systems at big, enterprise customers. We're looking for someone who's detail-oriented, team-oriented, self-directed and adaptable to new development environments and changing business requirements. The perfect candidates will also be able to demonstrate a proven track record of innovation by providing exemplary project examples.

- Design and Implementation: Design and guide various Cloud Pack platform installations, i.e. Cloud Pack for Data installations for clients, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security. Develop and maintain solution designs documentation and deliverables
- Create solution blueprint, estimates, gap analysis, and conceptual designs/customer demos as well as provide a post go-live support. Implement solutions within defined architectural guardrails, principles and framework
- Engage at one or more multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines. Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other team members to ensure successful project delivery
- Actively involve in customer proposals and support business development activities
- Be the central point of connect across various teams working on the solution - the client teams, IBM, the IBM's partners
- Act as a mentor to junior engineers and guide them i.e. on Cloud Pak for Data

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- BS. in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience in Computer Science/Information Systems/Engineering/STEM
- Strong (5 years) knowledge of hybrid cloud platforms, including design, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of operating systems, databases, virtual platforms and distributed applications
- Experience in creating solution design, estimates, customer demos
- Demonstrates strong analytical thinking and creative approach to problem-solving
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
- Familiarity with one of IBM Cloud Pack products - i.e. Cloud Pak for Data, Cloud Pak for Business Automation and underlying RedHat OpenShift Cloud Platform
- Component of innovation - 3x exemplary projects
- Knowledge sharing opportunities, like speaking at conferences, techtalks, meetups, blogging
- Knowledge in second European language on communicative level
