We are looking for a hands-on Data Engineering manager to play a key role in expanding the risk and fraud mitigating capabilities in our New York City office.

Responsibilities
- Manage a group of big data engineers in building batch and real-time pipelines around risk and fraud.
- Work closely with product managers, fraud analysts, data scientists, and software developers from around the world.
- Gather data needs from internal customers like product and analysts, and translate those requirements into a working big data platform.
- Develop data-centric software using leading-edge big data technologies.
- Collaborate with colleagues both locally and in remote locations
- Influence the software architecture and working procedures for building data, analytics, and data science environments
- Participate in design and code reviews
- Manage your own time, and work both independently and as part of a team
- Be the go-to person for anything and everything regarding understanding the data - exploration, pipelines, analytics, etc.
