Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job Description
We are looking for two Quality Control Inspectors for 4/10 shifts. One position is from Monday to Thursday, 1st Shift - 5 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional availability required on Fridays. The other position is from Tuesday to Friday, 1st Shift - 5 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional availability required on Mondays. The Production Inspector performs routine visual, mechanical, and electrical inspection of printed circuit boards, systems, and sub-assemblies at several points in the operation to ensure quality compliance with required standards. Duties: - Work from detailed Process Sheets, Visual Aid Packages, Engineering Change Orders, Production Change Notices, Critical Item List, and other relevant written instructions - Inspect for proper positioning of components, soldering, markings, and other quality requirements related to various manufacturing technologies, including touch-up or defects found in the inspection process - Obtain appropriate paperwork and necessary drawings for each job assignment and verify paperwork as the correct effective date - Verify placement, polarity, and labels on circuit boards - Use Defect Code List to identify defects and route boards to rework/repair facilities - Perform minimal rework/repair duties as necessary - Perform minimal hand solder operations on printed circuit board assemblies - Complete necessary routing tasks per procedure - Enter board and/or system quantities into the Baan ERP system - Input data into PFS - Perform duties under close supervision - Check configuration on all assemblies - Provide timely feedback to other operations, management, and support engineering as appropriate - Follow and maintain accurate process documentation and recommend improvements - Comply with and follow all company policies and procedures - Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

This is a fully on-site position in SANTA ANA, California.
Work Environment
The manufacturing facility is both AS9100 and ISO certified. They work on military and government projects, some of which are top secret and require top secret clearance and ITAR clearance. All contractors must be able to obtain this clearance and be ITAR compliant. The facility is clean and fast-paced.

Hard Skills
- Quality Inspection (at least 1 year, electronics experience preferred)
- Blueprint/Schematic reading
- Use of measurement tools: Calipers, micrometers, gauges
