Role: Solution Architect Specialist
Supporting: Large Financial Services Client
Location: Hybrid - Tuesday through Thursday - McLean, VA
Position Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Solution Architect Specialist lead to provide leadership and oversight for Solutions Architecture in Business Applications. The candidate will lead several high-visibility initiatives supporting Multifamily Business and Engineering teams. Responsibilities include guiding Agile Architecture transformation, collaborating with Business Architects, Chief Product Owner, Product Owner, and Agile Coach to create Solution and Technical Architecture for various requirements. The role also involves ensuring alignment with enterprise standards in partnership with Enterprise Architecture and Risk & Security groups, driving product research, RFP/vendor interviews, and POCs for COTS solutions, and communicating business cases for TAWG/ARB approvals. Additionally, the candidate will work with development leads on design brainstorming and reviews, and resolve implementation issues across business and technical requirements, design, code, testing, and technology/platform.
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required; Advanced degree preferred
15+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture and Business Application development
10+ years of relevant task management experience
Prior Software development background
Hands-on and architectural experience with modern Cloud Native architectures is required in this role, as well as, proven record of leading architects through organizational transformations
10+ years of relevant large-scale enterprise transformation experience as relates to architecture preferred
Prior experience in the primary or secondary mortgage industry is desirable
Deep knowledge of various enterprise level Platforms widely used in the industry preferred
Extensive experience in Solution Architecture patterns such as micro-front ends, microservices, 12 factor applications etc.
