Responsibilities:Assist the sales department with subcontract review and negotiation of terms/schedules.Coordinate all shop drawings, engineering reviews, and submittals with the CAD department.Review incoming RFIs, ASIs, and PRs.Familiarize yourself with the contract documents and ensure our materials meet or exceed the design criteria, the specified requirements, and the design intent.PROCURE ALL MATERIALS AND RENTAL EQUIPMENT: on time and accurately; always negotiate better pricing on all materials and equipment.Review and approve bills of materials from any third-party vendors.Schedule material deliveries.Draw and order any required flashings.Schedule shop manpower.Schedule field manpower.More notes on scheduling: coordinate all fabrication, stay up-to-date or ahead of the client s schedule. However, if the client or other subcontractors are delaying our progress, and/or accelerating our schedule, notify the client of the time/cost impact.Carefully review periodic cost reports and identify/address any issues.Attend subcontractor coordination meetings and other site meetings, as required.Attend monthly project management meetings without fail.Visit the job site routinely, and identify/address any safety hazards, quality control lapses, or production concerns. Always keep safety, QC, operations, and management informed.Expect some travel, including overnight travel.Percentage of time in the office/on-site: 60/40.Submit warranties and other close-out submittals.
