As the Network Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the network and server infrastructure. You will work closely with IT stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve network and IT related issues, as well as participate in project management and network design. Occasional travel may be required to other company locations, both domestic and international.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, manage, and upgrade the company s network infrastructure
- Implement network and security policies
- Plan for future network growth and expansion
- Monitor network performance and security
- Analyze system and network performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize efficiency and resource utilization
- Proactively monitor system health, identify potential issues before they impact operations, and escalate critical problems.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute hardware upgrades for servers and network equipment, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal downtime.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks within the IT/Network infrastructure
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Associate s degree in a relevant field
- CCNA or Network+ certifications preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in network administration
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and security, including network architecture, firewalls, routing, VLANs, VPNs, ACLs, WiFi, & VoIP
- Experience with network monitoring tools
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
