Director of Finance

Location: The position is expected to be based in our NYC office 5 days a week.

We are seeking a candidate with demonstrable experience in Retail, Product, POS, SaaS, payment industry, FinTech, Software house, or telecommunications.

The Opportunity:

Director of Finance will be a key member of the Executive Management team and will be responsible for all of the company s financial matters including, primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company.

This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, budget optimization, property management, deal analysis and negotiations, investor relationships and partnership compliance and private and institutional financing.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in business, finance, accounting, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles, preferably in the payment industry, FinTech, Software house or telecommunications.
• Management skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations.
• Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
• Technologically savvy; experienced using ERP or Inventory systems.
• Solid GAAP and financial reporting technical skills.
• MBA and CPA are a strong plus.
• International experience will be a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership in the development and continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.
• Providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts.
• Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions for the organization.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives.
• Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.
• Oversee all initiatives and projects within the Finance Team.
• Supervise finance team (consisting of 4 people).
• Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance opportunities.
• Oversee cash flow, cash management, working capital, and company audits.
• Prepare financial statements and reports.
• Manage relationships with banks.

Compensation: The base salary range for this position is $125,000 - $150,000. The position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan. In addition, we're proud to offer a range of competitive benefits.
