- New blocks (block diagrams): (circuits: crystal, Delay-Locked Loops (DLL), Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO))
- Mixed signal RF (not digital or SRAM)
Contract Layout Engineer
In this position you will work closely within a team environment. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of industry experience. This experience should include CMOS HS analog and RF design, 5Ghz and above preferred. Experience in fin-Fet technologies, and an understanding of process challenge related to them They will also have a firm understanding of the fundamental concepts of capacitance, resistance, and inductance as it applies to layout in a high-speed environment.
Good communication skills are essential both written and verbal. An in-depth knowledge of Cadence and it s Virtuoso connectivity driven tool suit. A firm understanding of Calibre and Pegasus verification tools. The ideal candidate will also have a strong desire to be part of a world-class team with an open mind to learning and sharing with others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Top-down floor planning
- Layout at all aspects and levels of large-scale RF macros.
- Ability to work and keep pace within a dynamic team environment with close interaction with the design team.
- Providing high quality layout that enhances the quality of the overall design.
Job Requirements:
- 8+ years of industry layout experience
- Team player with an open mind to learning and sharing with others.
- In-depth knowledge of Cadence VXL and Mentor Graphics tools
- Strong verification debug skills
- The ability to problem solve on one s own.
- Strong knowledge of Electro-migration, Signal Integrity, and IR related issues.
- Detailed orientated
Additional Skills:
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux
- Understanding of data management tools
