Optical Operations Data Analytics Manager Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement a data analytics strategy that aligns with the optical department's goals and objectives; Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction; Oversee the collection and integration of data from various optical systems, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and electronic health records (EHR) systems; Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and accessibility; Lead data analysis efforts to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that drive process improvements and cost efficiencies; Create and maintain visually compelling dashboards and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders; Collaborate with optical operations teams to identify areas for improvement in processes, inventory management, and customer service; Implement data-driven solutions to optimize supply chain, inventory levels, and staffing; Analyze customer data and feedback to enhance the optical shopping experience, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty; Develop customer segmentation strategies for targeted marketing efforts; Manage and mentor a team of data analysts, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous learning; Provide guidance and support for professional development; Ensure data governance policies and procedures are in place to maintain data accuracy, integrity, and security; Stay updated on data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and ensure compliance; Manage the budget for data analytics initiatives, allocating resources effectively and tracking expenditures; Provide cost estimates for data-related projects; Collaborate with departments such as marketing, finance, and IT to understand their data needs and support data-related projects; Effectively communicate data insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders; Fully remote position. Can work anywhere in the U.S. Salary $104,312.00 per year.

Minimum Requirements: Requires a Master's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics or related field plus 4 years of experience required in a Business Analysis, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or related occupation.

Experience Must Include:

  • 4 years of experience in data analytics;
  • 3 years of experience in optical operations analytics;
  • 4 years of experience with data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL);
  • 3 years of experience with data visualization tools in the optical industry (e.g., Tableau, Power Bl);
  • 3 years of experience in data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling;
  • 1 year of experience with healthcare data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
