Location: On-site in San Leandro, 5 days/week
Contract Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension or conversion)
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain both on-premises and cloud-based systems (Windows/Linux).
- Oversee and optimize OT networks, specifically Rockwell FactoryTalk.
- Collaborate with the IT manager to design resilient systems and demonstrate OT visibility into the cloud.
- Mentor and upscale junior team members, fostering their growth and increasing their responsibilities.
- Ensure smooth operation of VMware-based on-premises infrastructure (VXrail environment).
- Maintain and manage AWS services, including EC2, S3 buckets, RDF, and containers.
- Support offshore resources, ensuring effective collaboration and knowledge transfer.
Required Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with cloud and on-premises systems.
- Proficiency in managing OT environments, particularly Rockwell FactoryTalk.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with VMware and VXrail environments.
- Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, S3 buckets, RDF, containers).
- Excellent mentoring skills and a willingness to teach junior team members.
- Ability to work on-site 5 days a week.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Litmus environment and beverage manufacturing OT systems.
- Background in high IoT environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Top 3 Priorities:
- Expertise in FactoryTalk.
- Openness to mentoring junior staff.
- Experience with Operational Technology (OT).
