Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engineer I to join our team. In this entry-level position, you will play a crucial role in supporting our engineering and sales efforts through compliance documentation, testing, and customer service. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate data management and enhance our product offerings. This role will report directly to the Engineering Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance Documentation: Maintain documentation required for compliance with industry standards and regulations (ISO, REACH, CMRT, ROHS, etc). Support customer request for compliance documentation.
- Testing: Conduct tests on products to verify functionality and performance, documenting results and providing feedback.
- Support Sales Team: Assist the sales team with part-number cross-references and ensure that datasheets are accurate and up to date.
- Failure Analysis: Work with engineering team to investigate product failures and provide detailed analysis to identify root causes and recommend solutions.
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Write, review, and maintain SOPs to ensure consistent and efficient operations.
- Website Data Content: Update and manage content on the company website, ensuring that product information is current and accurate.
- Customer Service Support: Monitor and respond to the customer service inbox, addressing inquiries and providing technical support as needed.
Updating Drawings and Datasheets: Revise and update engineering drawings and datasheets upon request to ensure all documentation is accurate and current.
General Engineering Tasks: Assist with additional general engineering tasks as assigned to support team goals and projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-2 years of experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with data management tools.
- CAD, ADOBE, BARTENDER(LABELS) preferred
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
