Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Architecture or the equivalent in education/experience.
- 5+ years of in-office experience.
- Strong Revit skills a must 5+ years experience.
- Experience with SketchUp, In Design, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Bluebeam.
- Technical production skills are necessary and require demonstrated ability to effectively produce design and construction documents.
- Knowledge of building codes, zoning, jurisdictional processes, building materials, specifications, and construction techniques a plus.
- Restaurant/Commercial design experience a plus.
- Strong organizational, management, design, graphic, and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to self manage and manage others for multiple project assignments from start to finish.
- Detailed Oriented, Motivated, and Optimistic Spirit.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in and/or manage all phases of the design process, from conceptual studies to construction documents, directing and producing accurate work as a part of a coordinated project team.
- Provide direction and motivation to the design team, and collaborate with Principal Architect.
- Review of shop drawings per project specifications and drawings review and respond to requests for information (RFIs), Architectural Supplemental Instructions (ASIs).
- Construction Document production in Revit(must be proficient in Revit).
- Research of building materials and systems, building codes, regulations, etc.
- Develop details that are consistent with the design direction, and support the overall quality of the project.
- Coordinate disciplines including Structural, MEP, Civil, Fire Protection and Landscaping.
- Compile and submit permits.
- Responsible for overall client satisfaction, design quality and profitability of all projects undertaken that contribute to the firm's strategic priorities.
- Documenting client communications as needed.
- Understand time management and utilize project management tools.
We are offering a competitive salary dependent on your experience, flexible schedule, health/dental insurance, paid holiday's and vacation time. This is a remote position with some site travel and in person meetings.
