This is a hybrid position with 3 days/week onsite in Lexington, MA. We are not able to consider 100% remote at this time.

Looking for an experienced individual to join our team in Lexington, MA. This person will be responsible for leading the implementation of secure development and operations practices within our team, ensuring seamless integration throughout the full software lifecycle. The role requires hands-on setup and oversight of development environments, managing cloud infrastructure, and overseeing the automation of deployment and system updates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead efforts to integrate secure development practices across various operational stages.
- Support the creation and implementation of a strategy for digital engineering and governance.
- Collaborate with teams to assess system requirements and translate them into actionable plans.
- Identify risks and opportunities related to project execution, providing expert advice on mitigation strategies.
- Drive complex, multi-platform projects that combine both in-house and cloud-based infrastructure.
- Facilitate planning sessions to align team priorities with overall project goals.
- Apply continuous delivery methods to streamline system updates and testing procedures.
- Install and manage tools that support automated testing and deployment.
Required Background:
- 6+ years of experience in a similar role supporting software development processes.
- 3+ years working with DevSecOps principles or similar approaches.
- Familiarity with cloud environments and tools that automate the continuous delivery of code.
- Proficiency with tools for containerization and version control systems.
- Experience in using tools to track project progress and manage documentation.
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and secure coding practices.
- Ability to collaborate with a U.S. government-related client, meeting all necessary requirements.
Bonus Skills:
- Hands-on experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Understanding of tools that monitor security vulnerabilities and system integrity.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
