Our federal client is looking to hire a Mobile Systems Software Analyst, on a contract to hire basis, at their offices in Merrifield, VA 22082. This position will pay an hourly rate of $65HR (1099, dependent on experience) or $60/HR W2 or an annual W2 salary of $125K with PTO and benefits.This position will allow for remote work 2 days a week after an initial 1-month orientation period and can convert to a permanent employee after 6-months. ***Due to the required clearance with our government client, only US Citizens, Green Card and Green Card EAD holders may be considered. Clearance requires that the candidates have resided in the US for the past five years. The selected candidate cannot have left the country for longer than 90 consecutive days and no more than 180 cumulative days***

Mandatory Requirements

  • Network experience, general knowledge of routers, switches, and wireless access points
  • Able to troubleshoot network problems
  • Understanding of network topology development, implementation, and assessment of network technologies
  • Hardware experience, familiar with routers, switches, experience with mobile computers is a plus
  • Familiar with GPS, Cellular service and Bluetooth technologies.
  • Good verbal and writing communication and documentation skills.
  • Basic programming skills
  • Proficient in excel, good data analysis skills
  • Able to define requirement, analyze system capabilities, develop workflows and perform systems analysis
  • Able to define metrics, establish standards for the systems involved
  • Engineering and 5-10 years of work experience
