Schulte Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Aerospace Quality Technician for our client North of Boston. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity with exceptional benefits!

This position is Monday - Friday / 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Pay Range: $34.00 - $40.00p/h DOE

Summary/Objective

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Quality Technician responsible for performing and documenting in-process, final, and first article inspections to ensure aerospace products meet all applicable requirements. The role involves working closely with engineers, operators, and other teams to resolve issues and implement improvements.

Job Functions include:

  • Conduct inspections to ensure products meet engineering drawings and models.
  • Support Quality Engineers in preparing inspection plans and addressing non-conformances.
  • Develop and run CMM or vision system programs for product inspections.
  • Generate Discrepancy Reports and initiate actions for non-conforming material.
  • Perform first article inspections per AS9102 and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with aerospace teams to identify and resolve issues and enhance efficiency.

The Ideal Candidate MUST have:

  • 3+ years of experience in aerospace inspections and knowledge of AS9100/AS9102 requirements.
  • Proficiency in high-precision dimensional inspection and CMM programming.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T (ANSI/ASME Y 14.5) and the ability to read complex engineering drawings.
  • Hands-on experience with inspection tools like calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate across departments.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years in a manufacturing environment with precision part inspection.
  • CMM programming and inspection experience required.
