Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Flexible)
Salary Range: $70,000-$115,000

What You ll Be Doing
- Develop and enhance applications using COBOL, DB2, and CICS, in partnership with technical analysts and integration architects.
- Lead and support the migration of legacy systems to cloud-based platforms, utilizing and refining existing COBOL code.
- Design and execute comprehensive unit and functional testing to ensure the highest quality of code.
- Participate in code reviews and technical evaluations to uphold best practices and performance standards.
- Provide 24/7 on-call support (on a rotating basis) to ensure smooth operations in production environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document code changes and adhere to version control policies.
- Handle production support activities including incident resolution, code updates, patches, and performance optimization.
What We re Looking For
We are seeking candidates who combine technical proficiency with a proactive problem-solving mindset. To succeed in this role, you ll need:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Hands-on experience with COBOL, DB2, and CICS development.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and previous involvement in migration projects is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies (unit and functional) and code review practices.
- Proficiency with version control systems and repository management.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
- Willingness to provide on-call support in a rotating schedule.
